Linda Whitehead became active in
Scottsdale issues shortly after moving here in 1998. She was a
member of the Community Working Group that convinced APS to
respect our Preserve and place its new facilities outside the
Preserve boundary. She served on the Planning Committee that
helped Scottsdale Library create a strategic plan for 2005-2010.
She also served on the Ad Hoc Citizen Trails Task Force, and she
was a member of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission for six
years. Linda was also a member of the 2011 General Plan Update
Working Group. Linda served as a member and as vice president of
the Coalition of Pinnacle Peak, and also participated in the 2013
Scottsdale Visioning Town Hall. She currently is a member of the
Transportation Commission's Trails Subcommittee.
