Tonight: Gold Palette ArtWalk themed Western Spirit: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.  From walking tours to larger-than-life images displayed outside the galleries in a unique el fresco video. Learn more of your town’s history and celebrate our Western heritage. Details at Scottsdale ArtWalk

Friday: The Hashknife Pony Express makes its wild, galloping ride to Scottsdale on Friday, Feb. 10 traveling 200 miles from Holbrook to Scottsdale delivering 20,000 first-class letters by horseback. Family activities begin at 11 a.m. with mail delivery at high noon at the Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West located Marshall Way one block south of Main Street. Saturday: Parada del Sol horse parade & Trail’s End Festival:
Grab family, friends and house guests to cheer on participants (and horses) in the Parada del Sol parade & Trail’s End Festival on Feb. 11. The parade begins on Scottsdale Rd at Camelback Rd and proceeds south to Museum of West then into Old Town. 10 a.m. to noon Link for details Parada del Sol Parade

Saturday: Trail's End Festival street events are from noon to 4 p.m. featuring western entertainers on five stages, Native American and Hispanic dancers, as well as a streets full of activities. GREAT family fun at the Cowboy Kid area !

Fri-Sat-Sunday 6th Annual Waterfront Fine Art and Wine Festival Feb 10-12. 6th Annual Waterfront Fine Art and Wine Festival will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Thunderbird Artists line the banks of the Scottsdale Waterfront with a selection of juried fine arts, fine wines, delectable chocolates and musicians. Located near Marshall Bridge on AZ Canal.

COGS-Coalition of Greater Scottsdale Board of Directors will have six term expirations this 2017. Current members are encouraged to nominate (themself or others). The form will be on our website this weekend. Submit by 28 February. Members will receive an e-mail ballot. Announcements are made at the annual spring COGS potluck Sunday, April 2nd at 4pm.  Become a member with $10 annual dues payable on our website
