Good evening, COGS E News Readers. Where will you be Sunday,
October 25th? Did you sign up for the Special
Events Ordinance public input sessions? What new land projects or
changes are coming to your area?
THE COGS ANNUAL POTLUCK is
Sunday, October 25th beginning at 5 PM.
You are encouraged to come whether you are a COGS E-Newsletter
reader or a paid $10 annual dues member. It is a dynamic
gathering of adults who care about their city. Previous
years have proven great talents in the kitchen as the casseroles,
salads and desserts are amazing. The location is on a private home
patio near downtown Scottsdale. Feel free to bring friends.
When you RSVP to email@example.com
we will send you the address.
We just might arrange for a full moon.....
the first Special Events Ordinance public input session was held.
The setting for future sessions (by reservation only) on Thursday
will be 8 tables with each having a different set of questions to
generate participant’s responses.
The goal is to rewrite the outdated ordinance. This first 8
am to 10 am session had 12 participants with a couple more
arriving later. There are 40 registered people in the next
two sessions according to a city staff member.
Attached are COGS’s Summary
Notes from that session if you are interested.
