NOISE CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Contractors of the new patient building at 7575 E. Earll Drive have filed a noise mitigation plan. Their notice warns of construction noise from January 2016 to March 2017 as they build for Banner Health Hospital. Several years ago, COGS worked closely with the city to originate and write a Construction Noise Ordinance to protect residential areas from excessive noise. It requires neighborhood notices when summer nights are used to pour concrete, sets morning start and evening stop times for summer and winter months and restricts Saturday and Sunday hours.  They recently notified that on May 10th hours are modified because of adverse temperatures and work will begin at 4 am and will conclude no later than 7 pm. Details on the city website  search “Construction Noise Ordinance”.
