Welcome to the month of June and pending 114 F Saturday!  Bill Crawford, has announced that he is not turning in signatures by today’s deadline to run for Scottsdale Mayor.  That leaves NO Primary Election expenses for the taxpayers because there are now only two candidates in this race.  COGS and the Community Council of Scottsdale will provide the public with an opportunity to meet and discuss city issues at the next Wednesday, June 8th Mayoral Candidate Forum in the Granite Reef Senior Center at 1700 N. Granite Reef Rd (just north of McDowell Road). [This forum has been cancelled!] From 6:30 pm to 7 pm you can gather brochures and talk face-to-face with Jim Lane and Robert Littlefield.  From 7 pm to 8:30 pm will be a Hot Issues discussion that includes audience questions submitted on index cards.

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR AND PLAN TO USE THIS VALUABLE TIME TO KNOW THE MAYOR CANDIDATES.  Cut through the political rhetoric and get your issues discussed at this free, co-hosted forum provided by The Community Council of Scottsdale and COGS.
