6:30 pm to 8:30 pm—Wednesday, 7 September to meet the Scottsdale city council candidates face-to-face and to get your questions answered.


  • Challenge any of the sitting council members with decisions they have made or congratulate any who have supported you and your neighborhood
  • Ask those hard questions why no funding for deteriorating city streets, lights and other infrastructure.
  • Ask is our city future to be one of apartments, high rise office buildings and greater density from south to north ?
  • Ask why are the Rural neighborhoods being chopped into smaller parcels rather than being protected?

COGS and the Community Council of Scottsdale are co-hosting 3 forums as a public service for our Readers and members.

Forum #1   4 city council candidates   Wednesday,  September 7th in the via Linda Senior Center located just south of Shea Blvd. on 104th Street (10440 E. via Linda)  Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Forum # 2  Mayoral candidates only   Thursday, September 15th  6:30 pm to 8:30 pm   Granite Reef Senior Center (1700 N.Granite Reef Road) north of McDowell Road.  6:30 to 8:30 pm

Forum #3 All 6 Mayoral and City Council Candidates  Wednesday, October 5th in Marshall Gallery in the Downtown Arts District (7106 E Main Street) 
6 pm to 8 pm
